Several years ago Bob Kirkwood, who also owns Trailhead, set out to create a restaurant in the tradition of an old English Public House. The result has become one of the most popular and successful restaurants in the entire St. Louis area. Lewis and Clarks offers a warm, traditional atmosphere with an excellent American style menu that caters to all tastes. Not only do Lewis and Clarks and Trailhead share an owner, but they also have an important relationship not unlike that of an old English Public Houses and local brewery. Following in this tradition, Lewis and Clarks has the unique connection to Trailhead that allows them to serve the fresh draft beer we brew locally in St. Charles.
