Large Party Reservations

Lewis and Clarks is located on Main Street in the heart of Historic St. Charles. In our unique three story historic building, we have multiple options for hosting a range of events from Rehearsal Dinners to Business Groups to Casual Family Gatherings.

We consider groups of 20 or more "large party reservations" and are able to accommodate groups of up to 50 people.

We take pride in our simple and effective approach with large parties. We charge a $150 security deposit upon booking in order to hold the space for your group. That security deposit will be applied toward your bill at the time of the event, provided that you confirm an accurate guest count for the event, 48 hours in advance. Ultimately the cost of an event will simply come down to the food, beverage and gratuity. We do not charge a room fee.

We have a few semi-private areas where we are able to accommodate large groups. Our management team can help recommend the ideal space for your group based on the size, occasion and any mobility limitations.

Our approach involves working with the host to create a custom menu for the event. We are confident that we can help put together a custom menu well suited for your group, regardless of the occasion. This element gives the host control over the price point and ensures that our kitchen can effectively execute your event. We will have the custom menu printed and placed on each place setting, so your guests are able to order from it like a regular menu. There is no need for your guests to determine what they will order prior to the event.

As we have a large menu with plenty of variety, we are able to offer a range of price points for events. All of our event pricing stays true to our regular menu and is available to view on our website. We also have examples of our custom menus available to view.

Typically large events are settled on one check. For groups that are hoping to all pay individually (such as tour or team groups) we are happy to take this into account during the planning process and are able to make it easy on the host to collect from the group in advance.
